The Sherman's from Boston think its ok to up the price of main stand tickets by £18 per game. They've got a similar outlook to making money as Al Capone and his Chicago mob.
Having a picture of JK in a santa hat to look at is all that's stopping me jumping off the top of the new Main Stand (even though that's only a rich man's death these days )
Obviously, I thought £77 was shocking but £94 is a ****ing joke! And that's from me, someone that very gets to games!!!
£94? Have I been missing something? Why has it been increased again? That's £94 plus food and a pint and you're over a ton. £100+ for one game does not represent value for money. And if you're not local you're looking at a cheap holiday!
you guys have actually read the new ticket prices before commenting i take it? I mean i know its too much and all that. I understand completely and agree but the price quoted is not for every game its for class a games and while thats not much consolation i think people should be accurate in what they say... its for the seats where you can actually see the pitch. you can go sit in the top tier and freeze for less money. The think I am seeing is the club have chickened on the 54k statium not 60k and have bumped up the tickets to still get the revenue. I want to see if we actually sell this or not now cos if we do then we can expect the same pricing in 5 years when anfield road gets done... maybe...

Not sure why tourists seem to be getting the blame for poor atmosphere. It's been poor for a while except 13/14 - was there a problem with tourists then ? The atmosphere is because of the sh*t performances.
Tourists having been visiting the whole time it's been poor but they were banned that 2013-14 season #racism
No it isn't. The atmosphere is **** whatever gets served up. The atmosphere OUTSIDE was great in 2014 but inside it was pretty much the same (weekends especially). The tourists aren't to blame per se but to answer your question it is in part down to having fewer regulars that the atmosphere sucks. The number of season tickets might suggest we have as many regulars as ever but in reality many only go a few times a year and sell their tickets the rest of the time. Like it or not the non regulars generate 0.01% of the atmosphere inside Anfield. However the simple (but uncomfortable) answer is that all-seaters just don't generate the atmosphere that standing areas do. They never will....
