The Hull City AFC Sky Bet Championship home game against Nottingham Forest has been rearranged for Tuesday 15th March, KO 7.45pm. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday 20th February, but had to be postponed due to our continued involvement in the FA Cup. A date for our Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round tie away at Arsenal is still to be confirmed. Ticket details for both of the above fixtures will be confirmed in due course. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...ngham-forest-2937950.aspx#6kocZASeyBAUUs2M.99
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Eleven games in 42 days for #hcafc now. Sat/Sat/Tue/Sat/Tue/Fri/Thu/Tue/Sat/Tue/Fri. That squad will be needed.
I don't think that we shall have chosen the date. Looks like the work of the football league to me. However we have the squad to cope. Don't see it being a problem really. We could actually play 2 separate teams that week. Both would have the quality to get the job done.
Fixtures still manageable with the squad we have but we need to beat Arsenal at the first attempt rather than adding another match by bringing them back to the KC.
It used to do. The home club had to give the away team 3 other dates. Only when neither could agree did the FL get involved. However, I suspect the easy option is for the league to make the final ruling. Tuesday / Friday is no worse than Saturday / Tuesday. Those who think this is a problem need to get a grip.
If we did then possibly the home game with Brentford would get the heave-ho. In saying that, Get into the 6th round and our home game with MK Dons gets the chop.
People don't really need to get a grip, it's just a disappointment bearing in mind the importance of one of the games concerned.
If we do the business prior to the Boro game then the pressure of that game lessons. The Forest game had to be played at some point and the date now arranged should not be an issue.
Tuesday / Friday is no worse than Saturday / Tuesday. Those who think this is a problem need to get a grip.[/QUOTE] being pedantic, Saturday at 3 to Tuesday at 8 is 5 hours better than Tuesday / Friday at 8 - but as teams used to play on two consecutive days over Christmas in the sixties no-one should moan really
