...if you can win the title, it will be the greatest thing that has happened to English football in decades, dispelling the notion that we've all felt obliged to accept, namely that the Premier League title can only be won by a small handful of elite clubs.

You lot will strike a blow for EVERY ****er if you can pull it off; for the sake of football, we need you to do it.

I hope you do. I really really hope you do. I've no particular affinity for Leicester or any particular malice but for a club without having crazy money to spend and from outside of the so called big clubs to be sitting top of the Premier League in February makes me smile.

Good luck for the rest of the season...

Even in my pessimistic mind, i can't see us finishing outside the top 6, 16 points for the likes of Southampton and Liverpool to make up in 14 games? i just can't see it.

Im going to go with that theory for the rest of the season, e.g. If we are still 10 points ahead of 5th place with 10 games left, then i think we'll finish top 4 <ok>

People are looking at our next 2 games, but if you look past those, i don't see why we couldn't win most of them, as for top spot, i really hope we can, but its going to be very interesting.

I actually think the bookies have it wrong picking the regulars, Spurs are consistent, i think they have more chance of winning it if they can manage the europa league.

Can't believe I'll now be gutted with simply playing CL football next season, the title is within our sights now, surely?

I think we will fall just short of doing the impossible (the title!!) can't believe I'm even writing that..... However can you imagine if we finish in the top 4!!!!!! Oh my goodness
It would be astonishing and ridiculous at the same time.
14 cup finals to go. Bring them on

Can you imagine what the league table will look like if we beat Man C and then Arsenal? Never thought I would see anything like this in my lifetime.

Wait until after the Arsenal match before saying that mate - they are our two closest rivals and are 6 pointers in the title race...

And I can't believe we are talking about games against Man City and Arsenal as being '6 pointers' in the same breath!

I hope you do it! For (spelling) to long it's been the biggest spenders, (those that can avoid financial FairPlay) win the league. If a quality group of players, can take it and shove it up the arse of the "big boys", then I'll take a big sip, and nod my hat (old school) and think it's a shining example to the all other clubs, that the undoable is possible. Maybe we don't need to cave in to the "big boys".

Will be a tough ask to come away from Man City with anything. A draw would be fantastic

Very true - but all I've asked for all season is that we just really give it ago ... only game I've felt that we didn't was Liverpool away ... so win lose or draw on Saturday (barring crap reffing decisions) they'll be no complaints from me providing we do go for it ... what a season eh?

Alright Leicester fans I came on here in November to say congrats on your start but that I didn't personally think you'd be in the top 4 still come February...

So only fair I pop back now and say ****ing kudos cos you're showing us all how it's done (not jealous at all <grr>).
I was wrong and you really are taking advantage of this strange strange season. You've got a really good chance of top 4 now and maybe an outside title shot? <yikes> The scenes if you win tomorrow....

All the best from now on in, surely every club bar the top few are rooting for you now? For a smaller club to break the top4 I think would be the best thing to happen to English football for a generation, probably since the inception of PL. And although I'm slightly jealous on the other hand you're proving that it can be done, the league is getting more and more competitive and this is only good for sides like you, us, West Ham etc.

As my prediction was so off last time I'll leave you with this....

No way will you lot be top of the league at the end of April <whistle>

    Good luck fellas <ok>

Been scouring your threads to find a place where I can put this tribute. As a Southampton supporter I can identify with Leicester City fans because we support two of the clubs that are considered to be just cannon fodder for the glamour clubs, although we're trying to change that. Many supporters of Saints will often tell anyone that we have no chance of achieving anything in the Premier League other than a mid-table finish or survival, or maybe a cup. That's because they don't have the imagination to dream of greater things.

Well they don't need imagination anymore. Your club has provided every fan with visible hope that anything can be achieved, if you do the right things, and a far more exciting Premier League. I hope this is the start of complete revolution in PL football, where the glamour clubs don't have it all their own way anymore. Anybody can eventually become bored with possession football which goes nowhere, but your team play an exciting blend of compact defending and fast counter-attacking, which is surely the most rewarding style for the supporter to watch. I think what staggers most of us rival club supporters is that you do all this with a squad largely made up of cast-offs and lower league players, who are all playing at the top of the game and more. And if any team is playing to the peak of its potential, it's Leicester City and it's fantastic! It shows what potential there is in players, tactics and coaching. All that is required is the right combination, and your team has it in spades.

At SFC we've been having our own enjoyable revolution these last 6-7 years, but you people must be having such fun with yours at the moment. Keep that diamond squad of yours fit and I have no doubt you'll be there. Good luck for the rest of the season, not that you seem to need it. And remember, we might be supporters of our own clubs, but we are all cheering you on.

    Cheers

I didn't see this thread. Posted on another thread.

After today, its yours to lose.

You're changing room will be bloody buzzing after today.

Almost every neutral wants you to make it happen.

Good luck for the rest of the season Foxes.
