I wanted him to leave after the 2014 FA Cup final, but when he signed a new contract, I genuinely thought that I could perhaps put up with it for a few more seasons and who knows, maybe the situation may improve a lot.

But it hasn't, despite what people on here may say.

I did genuinely think he would leave in 2017 though, but he looks like he's going to sign until 2019, in which case, I can't deal with it anymore.

Is that the benchmark now? As long as we're "not that bad", then everything is okay? How much further is Wenger going to erode your expectations of the team?

No. But some are talking as if we have been awful. Which is simply not true.

This is a very solid Southampton side playing well. We are unlucky to not be in front.

With the stadium needing to be paid off and us selling off our players, I was willing to accept with such mitigating circumstances, challenging for the title was not a realistic prospect.

Be that as it may, it didn't explain our inevitable collapse every season at the February/March point, where we would get knocked out of the FA Cup, Champions League and fall way off the pace of the title.

It happens EVERY season, regardless of who's in the team. There's one common denominator. With a team this strong and with the players we've bought, we still somehow collapse when the pressure is on.

Stats show this, history shows this, but people want to turn a blind eye. The Arsenal shareholders will be happy for Wenger to stay on and be happy with below par achievements on field as long as the money pours in.

On the few occasions Southampton come out of their half we need to turn the play over quicker.

We are giving them time to reset. They are basically playing with 3 DM's

How the **** has Romeu not been booked yet, that has to be his 6th or 7th foul on Sanchez

How the **** had we conceded more fouls than them in the 1st half? Even in the little I'd seen of the 1st half that seemed ridiculous

    Leiciester winning.
    Man City winning.
    Tottenham winning.
    Man Utd winning.

But hey, we're "not playing too badly."

Sure, I'll just use my 09/10 template at full time. It has always been accurate.
