Old boy Buckley made an absolute fortune when he sold a chuck of Toast of New York to Al Shaqab. That animal never ran again after the sale but he’s now at stud so that should earn old boy Buckley another large pile of dosh. I would imagine that after all the money he made via this horse he might have turned his attention to the Flat. Don’t forget though that he also parts owns Newsworthy with the above mentioned Rich Richtea. He’s being given entries again by the way and should be out within the next fortnight.

Mr Henderson is indeed a very close pal of Mrs Harrington and who can ever forget how gentlemanly he behaved following her piping him to the 2014 Champion Hurdle. On the walkway to the ‘winner’s enclosure’ he embraced the old girl and congratulated her most warmly. I’m sure these felicitations, from Mr Henderson, meant more to her than the actual winning of the race. Like with Her Majesty and Chas Longsdon I’m sure an introduction from Mr Henderson cemented her alliance with old boy Buckley.

It's a good point Sir Barney makes about owners moving horses. Old boy McCain suffered losing 'Wazza's in laws' didn't he. Around 40 or 50 horses taken from the man some refer to as 'Dopey Donald'.

After listening to Graham Wylies interview after Yorkhill won the Tolworth it's clear the awe and admiration Mr Mullins draws from his clients, so I'm very sure old boy Bill sleeps as sound as a log in bed at night regarding his. I do wonder however what runs through Mr Nicholls head when he sees Graham's number pop up on his mobile, borrowed time there no doubt. Wylie isn't scared to spend the pounds on the Irish pointers either.

Not sure if JP and Mullins ever fell out, he'd the sadly recently deceased Alvisio Ville barned at Closutton. I think the issue there was that JP likes to pick his races targets, but was told at Mullins he wouldn't have this leeway. I think he reneged to get horses with Mullins after seeing the success he has. JP does like a gamble too, so perhaps the fact Mr Mullins uses the straightest bat in training, was not to old boy JayPees liking either methinks....

Sporting Life have just revealed that, because Willie Mullins is so dominant, all the Grade 1 races on Saturday's card at Leopardstown will be run twice - once WITH Mullins runners and once WITHOUT, turning Saturday's card into an eleven race spectacular <laugh>

Now that a non-Mullins "superstar" has been found - Yanworth with his 158 rating - we are really getting it stuffed down our throats. This lad is winning the Neptune before following up at Aintree, Punchestown, the Ascot Gold Cup and Melbourne Cup. One performance in a novice event on heavy ground. Mark my words, we have seen this before a few years ago when Boston Bob trounced a "stellar field" (<laugh>) on heavy ground at Navan.
