Were we glad to get rid of Shelvey because we're bitter or because he deserved to go? Two ways to look at that. I would have thought the fans would give you a better insight than some media or pundit's superficial opinion. We'll soon find out!

Different players play differently on different clubs . Many an unhappily player has been accused of being lazy because the players heart wasn't in it anymore . Shelvey will be a better player at Newcastle as I think Fer will be at ours .
Guido said he wanted a midfielder almost as soon as he walked into the door . My guess is Guido and Huw sat down and talked about it .If true , it's a good sign .
The doghouse if no one comes for him ....the Fer loan seems a good bit of business .Not much chance of QPR coming back up next season so if Fer works out a good deal could be had for a decent price imo . He's been transfered for as much as 8 million pounds in the past so there must be some potential there .
Imbula from Porto , Stoke were after him all month but wouldn't overpay .....Porto blinked late and took the offer .
