Sissoko, Doumbia, Townsend... Berahino? You'd have some 4x100m relay team.

Sissoko would drop the baton and then sulk stomp in the next 5 races!

Then Obertron would run in overtake everyone but sadly overrun the finish line.

    *edit:

At which his thigh muscle would explode creating a mass of goo moving at the speed of light ultimately destroying the universe due to energy of a moving body(part). Physics, simples.

Obertan would probably run the wrong way.

Rumour that he and the Mrs are going to Brazil for a holiday to try and get pregnant is a little cruel.

That would explain his bulking up. Mosquitos are attracted to people with high steroid levels, so him and the missus have been hitting the juice hard.

You do realise comments like the one you've made contributed heavily to everyone saying I was a ****? You'll get tarred with the same brush from here on in.

I realised that as soon as I had made it but surely we can all be forgiven for one moment of appallingly bad taste. I mean nobody slags off Albert for his chinos anymore.

This guy looks pretty average to me.

Scored a lot in Dutch & Russian league but was below average in Italy. Hence being loaned back to Russia to get his form back.

    Hasn't happened.

Still, fresh start in England, he may even like it.

Doumbia needs to be given a chance.
Bollox to the pessimists about him failing in Italy, so ****...

Putting into context, Odion Ighalo scored something like twenty in 100 games in Italy before upping sticks for Watford.
Most NUFC fans would have turned there noses up at him, and cut there wrists at the thought of signing him 18 months ago.
    How wrong they'd have been.

Never settled as the fans got on his back from day one apparently. Guess I wouldn't try much after that welcome.

Swiss league, not Dutch. Watched him a couple of times for Roma last season, and admittedly he struggled. He's done reasonably well on loan at CSKA this season though - 11 goals in 21 games is a decent return, including 6 in the Champions League. He comes with a decent pedigree, and has the physical attributes to succeed in the PL. Hopefully he can hit the ground running.

    The Swiss League you say?

    Well, that's even more impressive!

To be fair he only played 13 games in Italy, everyone should be given some time to adapt.

I'm glad we got this guy rather than going overboard for Berahino, at least there's the option not to make the loan permanent if it doesn't work out. His goal scoring record is pretty phenomenal, yes some strikers can score for fun in an inferior league and not cut it in the Prem (Luuk De Jong!), but we obviously needed a striker and I'm a hell of a lot happier that we got that this rather than Gomis!!!
