Just seen this on the Sky Sports Website, Maybe he can help keep us in the premier league and take his 3rd club (Swansea) down to the championship along with Villa & Sunderland like he did with us & QPR
I think we can safely assume we're all wrapped up. Is there even any rumours doing the rounds on Twitter? I don't use it so I don't know about these things.
Superb!! Phil Harris @kingswell Swansea: your Leroy Fer adjective arc... talented, classy, effortless, unhurried, indifferent, lazy, pointless, relegated. #ncfc #swans #qpr
I really like the way we've been bringing in prospects as well as strengthening. I doubt very much we have been wasting resources as I imagine the academy has its own scouting network, plus it's a different job looking at fully fledged professionals and youngsters. The issue is that the window means it's the only time of year we can bring these players in too.
Would of liked to of seen another centre back signed, however can't knock the business we've done this window.
I think it's been an excellent window and the best January window I can remember over the last 40 years. Two excellent striker/AM players replacing two marginal strikers leaving for relatively no net outlay. Hopefully an experienced CB who will settle in quickly and make us more solid at the back. A pacey RB who shows promise and two younger players for the future. Excellent all round I'd say.
Agree Rick - would have liked Tarkowski to have joined as well but can't complain about the business we have done this month. Well done to all concerned.
James Maddison from Coventry joins (then instantly returns on loan) very highly rated youngster. Liverpool had made a bid this window and supposedly spurs were interested. nice little kicker for an excellent window.
Yep on the club's Twitter page. Think it must have been nailed on for McNally to tweet about it. The Coventry fans seem livid which is generally a good sign. It's now pretty definite that their best two players are our players loaned to them.
V highly rated by all accounts. And Coventry fans are livid as they were supposedly holding out for £7m and we've paid nowhere near that by loaning him back
Done deal, three and a half year deal with an option for an extra year. Bit more advanced in his development than the other youngsters we've signed, which is probably reflected in the length of the deal.
