I am disappointed we don't look like adding anymore but a striker is not something I feel we need to prioritize

Logic would tell you to get them in beforehand, not doubt.

N'Doye was a replacement for Graham. Khazri isn't an out and out striker as far as I'm aware.

 

Borini's a striker, just gets played out of position out wide.

 

Steven Fletcher’s loan move from Sunderland to Marseille has been completed. That could actually be a very good move for the Scotland striker. He is out of contract in the summer and if he impresses, the Ligue 1 club might just offer him a permanent deal. And the weather is a tad nicer in the south of France compared to Wearside.

 

Fletcher and Graham aren't technically footballers, never mind strikers.

 

We've got loads of strikers. Only one that matters is Defoe as far as I'm concerned. Lose him we're probably ****ed.

 

Don't get me wrong we need a replacement striker. We're thin. But our status all rests on Defoe being fit imo.

 

That's the gamble that Sam appears to be taking.

 

We couldn't afford a player who bangs them in like him any way. Keep him fit and give him service, tighten up at the back and we'd be fine.

Absolutely. We need to see a different attitude in these coming big games.

6 or 7 wins and a few draws are a minimum over the rest of the season, but January will give us some idea about how the adjusted squad is gelling.
