Frank Bruno has come out and said he wants to get back into boxing...at nearly 55 years old. This is really sad news. We all know about his mental issues nevermind his age. The BBBoC should say no to a license and anyone who helps him get back in the ring in his state is a scumbag. Nevertheless he could probably knockout Fraudley Harrison.
Met him a couple of times and he comes across as a genuinely nice bloke as well as being ****ing huge. can't see anyone even thinking about giving him a license at his age but didn't Larry Holmes fight Iinto his late fifties?
Larry Holmes wasn't a bi-polar basket case being pumped full of drugs to keep him safe .......... the thought of this mentally ill man possibly being put in harms way for ''entertainment'' is about as sick as it gets.
Snowballs chance in hell of him being given a licence to box, lad has medical issues (mental) which are well documented, and to be fair would anyone buy a ticket to see our beloved `Frank` get his arse kicked, it`s just not cricket !, The man is and will remain a legend, and sometimes legends need to be protected against themselves.

Maybe Kelly Maloney will promote him and his fights could be in massive tents with performing seals and midgets as the pre fight entertainment. Could work....
bigger fear is if he goes down the unlicensed route as he has been refused by the bbbc a license to box.

I can't think of another top level boxer who looked like a sculptured piece of granite like Frank did . . . and still does !
Carnt he get a licence from another country, I'm sure not to long back a boxer couldn't get one here but got one from Luxembourg or somewhere
David Haye got a Luxembourg Boxing Federation licence to fight Dereck Chisor as Chisor had been banned and applied for a LBF licience to keep fighting after losing his BBBC licence for his behavior when losing to Klitschko.
Probably couldn't knock out Audrey Harrison either. She's 72, lives down Endymion Street. You know her, Tony's mam, big woman, husband left her.
