Going to be a very busy and chaotic day imo. A lot of deals to be done and hopefully Gomis will be gone.
If the Gayle transfer's correct then Gomis must surely go, especially after all the financial reporting. At least there's not long to go now and this circus will be finished.
Interesting how Cardiff have got around their transfer embargo. Tan's Belgian Club have signed striker Kenneth Zohore and have immediately lent him to Cardiff.
Various sites are reporting that Gomis will be gone to either Newcastle (£7m) or Sunderland (on loan) if we manage to secure the Dwight Gayle transfer today.
Here's a wild one from left field. 99 cap Brazil International Robinho is available on a free and his agent has spoken to both us and Leicester....allegedly
I hope we don't waste money on a last minute panic buy which will not improve the team. I'd rather use youngsters like Fulton, Grimes and Kingsley and do business in and outs in the summer
Ravel Morrison being linked with us now! I don't believe this one for a minute. What do we think about that young man?
Swansea manager Guidolin impatient for window to close please log in to view this image Francesco Guidolin will soon be able to concentrate fully on Swansea's battle against the drop.Photo: PA New Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin admits his settling in period has been complicated by the January transfer window. Guidolin, the former Parma and Udinese coach, has spent the last two weeks in Wales, first adopting a watching brief against Watford and then moving into the dug-out at Everton eight days ago. Swansea won both those games to enjoy back-to-back victories for the first time this season and head to West Brom on Tuesday night four points clear of the relegation zone. But Guidolin, who expects to hand £8million striker Alberto Paloschi his debut at The Hawthorns, says arriving at a new club in January has proved challenging. "It's a new world for me and for all the teams and managers in this period it is not a good time," Guidolin said. "Fortunately the transfer window finishes soon and I will be happy when it is finished. I am a new manager here and I cannot know all the characteristics of the players. "The most important thing for me is I have the possibility to work with my players." Swansea are chasing their first league double of the season after Alan Curtis' side beat Albion 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Boxing Day.
