Ben Arfa injury - Howay it's not the end of the world lads

  1. I'm really frustrated now, and gutted. I was really looking forward to seeing Ben Arfa in action in the PL, tearing the other team up. We don't know how long he'll be out, sources say between 3-6 weeks.

However, it's not the end of the world.

    Our team -

    ------------------Krul/Harper---------------------

    Simmo------Taylor-----------Coloccini------Enrique

    Barton------Cabaye----------Tiote---------Gutierrez

    --------------------Marveaux--------------------

    ----------------------Ba------------------------

    OR

    ---------------------Krul/Harper--------------------

    Simmo----------Taylor----------Coloccini------Enrique

    Barton----------Cabaye----------Tiote---------Jonas/Marveaux

    --------------New striker------------Ba---------------

We can still make an fantastic line up without Ben Arfa, and in my opinion, the injury could have happened to someone far more vital.

Lets face it, even though we were extremely excited to see Ben Arfa in action next season, imagine if someone more vital like Colo, Barton or Tiote got injured? It would have had me worried a lot more than Ben Arfa's absence. And it could have quite easily happened. The tackles that have been flying in from the USA teams have been absolutely ridiculous. It seems like the USA soccer teams get coaching sessions from their American football buddies.

I just hope to christ that no one else gets injured. And i hope that we never go back to the USA.

I'd like to see Abeid be the one who comes in for Ben Arfa at the moment.

  3. I wouldn't start with him just yet. He's just a youngun and he looks like it would be a bit too much for him right now. He could perhaps come on as a sub, but not start just yet.

Ben Arfa is vital we was building the team around him this season I am really worried about the lack of creative quality players we have.

I like the 442 while Ben Arfa is injured.

Abeid reminds of Dyer but hopefully without the injuries he is that quick CM we have been missing since Dyer and Jenas left great pace through the middle.

He looks like he has raw talent though. Give him the right team talk and get him in the right frame of mind he should be fine. If you're good enough, you're old enough.

  10. What do you mean lack of creative players? Barton and Cabaye are ****ing immense passers of the ball. We also have Enrique, Jonas and Marveaux to add to the attack.

We have two creative, passing players in Barton and Cabaye, a strong holding midfielder in Tiote that can keep possession and distribute the ball fantastically. And Jonas/Marveaux and Jose are great in attack.

Yeah Cabaye is really creative, I saw some of his games in the French league and I saw him at Darlo and he was brilliant. However i'm not sure about Marveaux inn a central role, isn't he an out and out winger?

    What about a 4-3-2-1 system

Tiote just behind other two CMs, Marveaux and Jonas on the Wings and Ba as a target man and a player who holds up the ball.

Yeah, Jonas can finish sometimes but Charles N'zog would be better on the right and Marvaeux on the left.
