It really pisses me off that we can't see games out.

Giroud has been very poor. All his passing and touches have been well off.

Whether we go through or not, this has been a rubbish performance from us overall. Looked shaky at the back and the midfield has been average.

Gray fouls two Arsenal players and ref gives nothing.

We win, but another average performance, nothing at all to raise confidence.

Walcott <doh> You should have killed the game off.

2-1. FT. Happy that we got through, but a well below-par performance overall. To be fair, Burnley are in great form and are top of the Championship, but the referee ignored a lot of their fouls. We weren't at the races, though. Happy to see Coq back and Iwobi looks like he's going to be a real handful.

But we won't be winning the FA Cup again with performances like that.

    BBC report says:
"Arsenal maintained hopes of winning the FA Cup for a third season in a row as Alexis Sanchez's goal carried them past Burnley and into round five."

Hmm. Not entirely true. Alexis played well, but for me, our real impetus going forward was Iwobi. Should get MotM, in my opinion.

I only caught the last 30 mins, from what I saw giroud was anonymous, chamber looked very tidy defensively while elneny seemed to be everywhere but maybe didn't put in too many tackles/break up play that much. Sanchez looked very hungry which is excellent.

Though like I say i only saw a bit of the game

Just watched the full game as I couldn't watch it live.

I thought El Neny did well for his debut. He seems to have really high energy levels and cover a lot of ground and seemed happy running forward to join the attack or sitting back to defend. I was also impressed that he constantly offered for the ball and wanted to be involved in the game.

At first glance he looks like a more defensive minded box to box player (he always seemed to be running back to help cover the defense, even when he had been forward) which is great as we have Ramsey who is a more attacking minded box to box player. Which gives us good options. He looks quite versatile and obviously keen to do well.

I liked that he took a shot whenever the opportunity opened up. If he can show more of the same he could become an important player in our squad. Hopefully he keeps Flamini and Arteta out of the team!

Apparently El Neny had the most touches of any player on the pitch. #stats
