A ****ing "meatball marinara is the only decent filling". The name itself should give any **** the boak - a meatball for ****'s sake
You are probably thinking of marinere sauce which is a white wine based sauce and lovely with shellfish Ya ****wit.
I have ordered seafood marinara plenty of times anchovy tomato garlic white wine sauce with scallops and prawns. Never seen a chicken marinara on any menu.
It's my ignorance Aldo no doubt but I really like the seafood dish. Never tried the meatball sub and the bread can barely hold up to a squirt of bottled sauce let alone a load of tomato sauce you would have to use a sturdy toasted baguette, is it beef ?
I would think that both ŵords translate to "mariner" or some other similar word, but to suggest that marinara sauce is the same as mariniere sauce is thick as ****.
