This article reminds me of so many people on here and other forums. I'm starting to come round to the idea that if you want to understand an issue or form an informed opinion, the last place to look is the internet and media. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/jul/24/internet-anonymity-trolling-tim-adams
Tons of people with issues lurking about on the net. Plenty of them on here, seemingly with multiple identities posting like mad trying to make it look busy and interesting on here Topics are starting to smack of real desperation. Waiting for the What's your favourite recipe thread next.
A very interesting read. I made a comment the other day about certain posters on here and that backs it up beautifully!
Completely wrong. The internet is the very best place to form an informed opinion because you have access to hundreds of articles on any issue you wish to learn about with which to cross reference and get a balanced homogenised view whilst also allowing you to make sure you do not miss out on the tenuous but potentially very real less common views as well. It isn't the internet's fault if you are an ignoramus who is unable to take in, compare, contrast, validate and properly judge a set of sources in order to form a complete view point.
He's a lot funnier than most of the ****ty comedians there are at the moment... His last season of Comedy Vehicle was great
Sometimes. To be fair if those comments in the blog were related to the first episode in 2009 when he laid on the floor telling the same ****ty joke over and over again for 10 minutes then they are richly deserved.
Thats spot on. Away from a computer i am a sensible, decent human being e.g. holding doors open for people etc. Give me a computer and an audience and i am a twat.
Really? Surely you must post your entire name to avoid the pitfall of 'rascality' ? This is assuming of course that Arthur Schoepenhauer isn't just expressing an opinion a century and a half before the internet was invented.
If only Batman was around back then, he'd probably mention what a soulless twat you'd have to be to name yourself after a fictional character
