I thought it was very good. Didn't guess how the finale would go either, which is unusual. Never seen Scott and Bailey. Worth a go?
Haha, looked it up on a site I use to log and rate TV shows. 2 Comments. First- "Probably the worst show I've ever seen" The Second- "you're probably right" Gets a good IMDb rating, the synopsis makes it sound like a comedy!
"The Jim Gaffigan Show" was pretty funny and a good watch. Very much like "Louie", but not quiet as well written and dark. 8/10 Finished the last season of "Boardwalk Empire" Pretty good. Slow at times, but pretty enjoyable. 7/10 Watching "The Leftovers" at the moment. 4 episodes in, I haven't got a clue what's going on, but it's very intriguing. Loads of questions to be answered.
Watched 7/10 episodes of "The Man In The High Castle". Not impressed. There better be a class last 3 episodes, because I cannot see why this is getting raved about and such high ratings. Think there's maybe 2 episodes I enjoyed, at a push. The rest have just been pretty dull and slow moving. At the moment this show is heading for a 6/10
I'm gutted that BBC 1 are showing Derby v Man Ure tomorrow night, I've got to wait another week for the next episode of Shetland
I haven't seen them yet. I need to start and finish season 9, and will wait til the new seasons finished airing, and will bulk watch it.
I've been working my way through them from the start, because I heard a long time ago they might come back with a new Season. It's hard work though. Some of the old episodes are great, and all the conspiracy ones about aliens, and the smoking man are fantastic. It's just there are so many filler episodes which are terrible! It makes it a log slog to get through them. Plus there are over 20 episodes a season.
They're not filler episodes, better known as 'Monster of the week' The standalone episodes are popular among The X Files fans, more so than the main story arc. What makes it good is you can just watch any standalone episodes not having to know the characters or the main story.
That's true, but they are very tiresome to watch some of them. I just think "get through some of these, then we can have a good one soon" The "Monster" ones were pretty good in the first season or 2, but they obviously ran out of ideas as the seasons go on.
I have to disagree but guess we all like different things. You can skip them and just watch the mythology episodes. http://x-files.wikia.com/wiki/Mythology
