Great job all round and the wording is spot on. I have no strong prefernce as to 'delivery' but now we're at the final hurdle lets just get the flowers bought and presented as soon as we can!
Will call ITFC on Monday to make sure the lady in question is in. If so, will go and get flowers done. Steve, happy to then bring them to you if you want to deliver or I or the shop can. Up to you matey. Either way, best we get this done now me thinks........
Rushmere - Steve isn't coming on here at the moment much, how about I give you his email to sort between yourselves?
If we haven't heard from Steve before Monday I'll just get it sent....... sure he'll be on before then though...
He said he wasn't on for the past week and to email him. I'm emailing him to get in touch with you Rushmere
Morning guys I spoke with Rushmere yesterday morning, and it was agreed that he would purchase the bouquet and have it delivered by the shop.. this along with a card as well, with the wording as set out by Hamps.. Due to work, we are both unavailable to make the presentation in person.. I will however make contact with Camilla by phone and speak with her that way. Once again guys, thank you for supporting this idea and a massive thanks to Hamps for sorting it all out. COYB
I am not doing it today.. I will give it a couple of days then make contact.. I was never intending in doing it today
Hey Pershore ya will never know that mate!!.. .. ha ha.. .. I spoke with Rushmere yesterday everyone, and do to work both he and myself cannot make any presentation until Thurs at the very earliest, so we decided that the bouquet would be ordered and along with the card, delivered direct today. OK all... job done yesterday. I rounded the figure up to £70 and bought a card in which I copied Hamps' message verbatum but included all screen names in full. The original idea was to make sure all good and then bugger off ooop north (6 hour drive) but this didn't go quite to plan. I made a point of waiting for the bouquet to be made (to make sure we got value for money - and we really did!) but when it was completed, and paid for, I gave them the delivery details only to then establish they didn't deliver to Ipswich!! Therefore had to take the flowers directly to PR before starting out on my already delayed journey. Delivered them to reception but the receptionist insisted that Camilla be called. After explaining that I was not a weird stalker with flowers - Camilla read the card and accepted the flowers. It is fair to say that she was both shocked and delighted in equal measure and thought the flowers were beautiful. She was amazed that we had all taken the time to do this for her and seemed genuinely lost for words. She was though, extremely grateful and asked that her sincere thanks were passed on to all concerned. So well done everyone - I beleive that we made Camilla a very happy lady indeed.
Great work Rushmere, it brings a lump to my throat! Perhaps you are better off creating a new thread with this news? To one and all! COYB
