I know there are some here. Just wondered what are your views on Harriman coming to Wycombe? We can't believe our luck - 3.5 year contract
I noticed you have a home game coming up against Villa in the FA third round. Even with Wycombe having a good season in 2, you go in as something like a 5-2 chance against an awful Villa who look like starting in the red. Different leagues of course, but the Wanderers seem like fair value to me. Harriman must be an ok player, his short term loans have all been extended in the past, so the long term signing speaks loud.
Youngster with a bright future Ron. He will do brilliantly for you. We dont seem to be able to find youngsters that are deemed worth giving a chance in the first team. They often get a gane or two when we have an injury crisis but never get a prolonged run. The last real gem we found was Raheem Sterling and he couldnt wait to **** off!
Couldn't wait to eff off from Vicarage Road on Saturday evening either. He was absolutely useless - so much so I wish he'd stayed on till the end
Yes Cyc. Tomorrow lunch time I set off with my daughter Amanda and Harry (grandson) to the UK. We will meet up with my son (Ron Jnr) to watch the game Saturday. We have hospitality tickets (all the standard ones sold out).
He'll do you very nicely Ron, good attitude and hard worker with a little talent - those attributes are of absolutely no use to us. Happy New Year all and best of luck with The Wanderers, Ron.
Another qpr supporter! Well I suppose there has to be more on the football site To your question Ron I have no idea but good luck with Villa.
Seems like a good lad, Ron. I hope the R's treat him well and give him a chance when the time is ripe......
As a Luton fan gutted, QPR stitched us over in the summer and Wycombe have now taken advantage will get to see him again in a couple of weeks, promising marauding full back !
Harriman Ron, and yes gotta be mad following Luton Town, started supporting early 80s getting promoted to the top flight stayed there for 10 seasons with 7th our highest finish winning the league cup against the Arse relegation as the Prem league starts down to the now Div 2 back to the now Championship, into Admin - 10 , -10 , -30 conference 5 seasons !!! blimey missed anything haha . Oh last week stuck a tenner on us for promotion with our new manager odds of 66-1 8 points off play offs you never know.
You never know, especially with us in free fall. Yes it did look as though Harriman was on his way to you. Glad he ended up here though. Maybe Ingram was linked in with the deal. With both the deals being "undisclosed" nobody knows for sure what's gone on.
I've got memories of Luton from the seventies.. .......supporting Watford.. .......bricks, bottles, and some bad coppers. ......good old days!
Ron, not sure about freefall for your boys in any case what do you expect Ainsworth has such a small squad to play with hey (in a sarcastic tone !) Yes plenty of memories of games at Loftus Road and at the allotments seems like many years away such has been the gap in recent years, but there is a bit of optimism around the place at the moment with finally talk of a new ground close to reality
Sounds similar Rudey. Being in the away end and it "raining half bricks" from outside over the uncovered stand. Useless coppers standing by and letting it all kick off. Pitch battles down the high street with poor innocent bystanders looking petrified.
Unbelievable now isn't it, but that was normalised policing then -- yeah that open terrace at the kennel.... ..
