Has anyone else read the stuff that Ian Holloway has come out with recently? Only two weeks ago, 'Boro were 'champions' for him. Ten days later, and now again today, Hull City are invincible. Its only what most pundits said about us after we had beat boro 3-0 and when we was on that unbeaten run. Probably said it about Derby / Brighton when they went top too, Holloway isn't on his own in making these claims.
All pundits are like this, Holloway isn't the only one. Whenever two teams near the top meet, this sort of talk always appears around the victor.

Here's what he actually said: "I think they are going to run away with it." [from the first quoted article regarding Boro] "It's for that reason why I think Hull are favourites for the title." [from the second and third quoted article] That's his opinion, it's the media that span it to make it definitive. He's paid to give his opinion; obviously he's not going to say that one team will definitely win it in January, not even Merson is that thick. This thread just seemed petty and spiteful, like just because Ollie didn't have us down to win the league a few weeks ago he's now going to be embarrassed if we do. Imagine the furore if he came out and admitted he was wrong.
I couldn't give a **** who he has to win the league. Most on here know I don't buy into the m25 media conspiracy theories about us. I don't like the ****s on reality shows even though they're just paid to do what they do. I don't like him. I think he's a ****. He's been making statements that are wrong by the following week. Therefore if I want to I'll use the opportunity to point out I think he's a ****. I think he's a **** because he's a **** not because of any imagined bias.
In fairness, those articles suggest he is of the opinion that whoever finishes first will win the league. So in actual fact he is quite a bit brighter than I gave him credit for.
