CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 2016 RACE SCHEDULE AND DATES

please log in to view this image

The horse racing world will once again focus on the Cheltenham Festival, 4 days of thrilling competition in the natural amphitheatre that is Prestbury Park, at the foot of Cleeve Hill.

The 2016 Cheltenham Festival will take place over 4 days from Tuesday 15 March with the Cheltenham Gold Cup taking place on Friday 18 March. Here is the full Cheltenham Festival 2016 running order for races including dates, times, distances and grade. The Festival includes 28 top class National Hunt or ‘jump’ horse races. There have been a few sponsorship and name changes plus a race change with the The Trull House Stud Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle replacing the St Patrick’s Day Derby Charity Race. Bring it on!

Like last season, there will be a separate thread for each race (which anyone is welcome to start) hyper-linked from here. The typical threads - ante post bets, meet-up thread etc etc will be added so this will grow into our definitive festival guide over the coming months.

    Bet calculator.
The Free Bet Calculator is the most advanced sports bet calculator available online, allowing you to calculate the stake and profit for a comprehensive range of bets. All of the most popular bet types are supported, including Lucky 15, Accumulator, Single, Double, Treble and Round Robin, along with some of the more unusual bets, such as Flag, Fivespot, Alphabet and Union Jack. Configurable bonuses and consolations can be applied to relevant bets, enabling calculation of the full expected return.

Large Accumulators and perms consisting of up to 20 selections are possible, with full support for each way bets (including equally divided), as well as bets affected by Rule 4, dead heat and joint/co-favourites. You can even supply a maximum total stake to help ensure that you stay within your spending limit.

The easy to use interface allows you to compare how potential returns can be affected by different outcomes for each selection, for example, can you still make a profit if only two of your Lucky 15 selections win?

Although the Free Bet Calculator is quick and easy to use, even for complex bets, context-sensitive help is available via the information buttons. New visitors may also find the extensive Betting Glossary and detailed Help pages useful.
