Think Burnley used a whole seasons luck up last night, whilst they were organised, its not so much that they won comfortably, more so that Derby gave it to them on plate with the defensive mistakes. Even the fourth goal enjoyed a massive deflection. Its always a close game at Turf Moor but hopefully we can go into this game with confidence high and get a result. Hopefully Brucey gets us on the front foot good and early but suspect we'll see another Fulham style showing
That can't be based on this season? It's all subjective and he's entitled to his opinion, but I think I may have only four of his in my selection. Clearly needs to go to Specsavers!
We missed lots of chances in the Derby game, quite a few Derby supporters felt they were actually lucky in that game.
Burnley go to the Wendies on Tuesday next week before we meet the following Saturday, so hopefully a tough away game whilst we have no midweek game may work in our favour as the match progresses, particularly as Dyche seems to use the same 11 week in, and week out
Goes to show we don't have that much to fear from them, or anybody else really if the squad keeps together and Hernandez isn't flogged to death by Bruce
I think the same could be said of Derby last night. It will be interesting to compare the two games after we visit Turf Moor if Bruce takes the cautious approach.
One of the commentators last night said that when winning this season Burnley have gone on to win every match, no mean achievement.
3 Boro players and 2 Derby players compared to ours and Burnley's combined number of 1. Elmo is a right laugh. He's been one of our worst players this season.
It would have been and it looked most likely @ half time with the score @ 1-1. Then the Keogh and Shackell show took over. Kamakazee defending for sure. Burnley just got lucky on the night. Certainly we shall have to be on it for the full game and not just the 30 odd minutes that Derby were.
Agreed. Maloney has actually held his hand up to 2 of them and a lost point. However, we should use this game as our motivation when we go to Derby on Tuesday April 5th.
You can't believe the BBC, can you ! Reported that Burnley are now up to third behind 2nd placed Middlesborough and 3rd placed Brighton but no mention of Hull City in 1st place !
Leagues best XI imo McGregor Odubajo Dawson Maguire Robertson Livermore Meyler Snodgrass Diame Clucas Hernandez Anyone who disagrees, look at the league table.
