Match 4 of the serious, organised mass protests. Although the protest was shorter on Saturday, we had fireworks and smoke bombs, and there is no doubt in my mind that there were even more attending than against Leeds. Even Jim Davidson popped his opportunistic head out. A summary of the small victories for protesters in the last few weeks: 1. Forcing Fraeye out - we all know they would have persisted for longer if they could have 2. Forcing Meire to be accompanied everywhere by protection on match days 3. Forcing Meire and Murray to move seats in the Directors Box. 4. Increased paranoia around Club incl. Mendez ban, blocking CL on Club WIFI, removing banners 5. Trashing Meire in national media - great articles in Sun, Guardian, Independent & Times Not to mention the decline they must be suffering in match day revenues - I was outside of the Club shop at 2.20pm on Saturday, and there were fewer than a dozen fans inside. Small victories that will ultimately lead to the big victory and the Scum's departure Keep The Faith
Can't deny what you've written - but all the while RD is still going about his business which now includes building flats near the jimmy seed. That tells me he still has a lot more in store for us. We need to take the fight directly towards him. In saint Truiden. It won't be easy or big - but if we could get a couple hundreds (Genk did it for Lepoint for gods sake) then not only does it embarrass him in his own country (which he cares about) but we might actually get a reaction. Be a good drink up too, no doubt.
On this, if you want to access CharltonLife, or any other forums using the club WiFi, download TOR Mobile Browser, or have yourself a VPN or any good private browsing option. It bypasses the restrictions on their WiFi. There's more other things that you heard that people do (through the profession I am in) and they show you, if you get access to their WiFi. It's called Orbot or Orweb. Something like that None of which I would advocate, but would certainly get attention....
Was wondering what do we do next ...I presume another protest at the next home game just to keep the pressure on. If we can keep up the numbers it stays in public eye. Do Blackburn fans still protest against the venky's or not these days. I saw a progress from a couple of years back against them on YouTube the other day and it was minimal in numbers compared with ours . Each protest seems to get bigger so far with us. The fact that the protest was shorter matters not a jot half hour is enough each week to get the point across. Love the Saint trudien protest idea it would work. Great to see coverage of Saturday's protest in the Belgian press that will hit home Roland won't be happy .
Another small victory - the door between the VIP Away Directors area and the Keith Peacock Suite was locked on Saturday - presumably to prevent fans popping in for a random chat. That came from fans in the KP Suite.
