A very poor record but not without an EW chance in this race GILMER 6.00 Wolv ive had a tickle at 20s far too big BET365. The step back up to 8.5f a big boost to his chances.
Interesting to see Hughesie (known to his friends me not being one ) has a runner Over the sticks tomorrow at Kempton - this his first one ??
It ran before against Modus back in November. Went off 150/1 and was beaten 28 lengths. I think our mate Hughesie had it then.

TISFREETDREAM 50/1 Kempton 1.05 Hard to recommend a horse who is 15 years of age but this boy won a similar race a year ago off a pound higher. Second choice in this would be STORM ALERT so I will have a saver and a play on the forecast. Looking forward to seeing how well WAIT FOR ME hurdles tomorrow. A favourite of mine but definitely needs to brush up on his jumping if he is to achieve his full potential.
I like Burgundy Betty ew in that race at 14s, but can't ignore a Stick 50/1 shot so i'll have a little play ew on yours aswell and do reverse forecast
One for the all weather tomorrow. Wolverhampton 2.50 Sky Ferry 9-2 This horse ran at Kempton two runs ago and put up a really good show in trying to make most in a grade 5, I felt after watching that race that the horse would be able to make all in a 7f race but sadly was ran again in a mile+ race. Tomorrow however he runs in a grade 6 over 7f and I think that this is perfect and fully expect the horse to win. Tactics will be essential however as his chief rival Israfel is going up from 6f to 7f which means we have even more reason to test the stamina at 7f. His other rival is Kistoff who is drawn 8 and so the faster we can break and hopefully take the pack with us the more chance we have of getting Kristoff caught wide or need to drop in behind. Our lad stays a mile but has been finding one too good so if the jockey gets out fast from stall 2 and sets a decent but not suicidal pace and then goes for home early I doubt very much anything will get near him. 9-2 a great price.
Morning, crew. Cor blimey have you seen the old weather forecast, for the Isle, for the 30 hours from mid morning tomorrow?!? All I’ll say is that I wouldn’t be looking to make to many advance pick of animals, from mid week onwards, on the sod as abandonment, due to waterlogging, must be a huge possibility in several cases. Re Richard Hughes’ training career he seems to have been given a real chance as he’s been sent 2YOs from such esteemed sources as Coolmore, Al Shabaq, Highclere Thoroughbreds, Middleham Park, Her Majesty, God bless and save her, and Mr Ponsonby, God bless and save him as well. The latter is a lovely well bred individual and so is the animal he’s sent Dickie Hughes! BOOM BOOM! Good luck all.
Wait For Me has a right engine but as you rightly say, needs to become fluent over the hurdles to achieve full potential. At a price I like Jackfield in the opener
Small dabble on Querry Horse in the 1.35 at Kempton. The fav should win but the others look a fairly mixed bunch and this lad won his only start in France and gets the 4YO allowance.
With all the crappy weather in the Northern Hemisphere, Snowball in the first at Kempton, might be the go.
Just watched the 2.40 from Kempton and I have rarely seen two horses in a novice chase both jump so well. The jumping was not pressured as there were effectively only three runners but each fence was met on an almost perfect stride by both and both got away from their fences fast because of it. They may not be top notch animals but those two Local Show and OnenightinVienna can both jump a fence and are a credit to their handlers.
