I'm not one for jumping on a player's mistakes, but that was just beyond belief. I've really no idea what was going through his head there.

    What did we learn today?

We learnt Lallana is a superhuman and all our hopes, dreams and ambitions rest on his shoulders.

  7. Two **** teams but great game. Three points in the bag so next...

PS; anyone see the stat after we scored our second? It was 3-2, Norwich had had three shots on target, we'd had two #topkeeping

    A new definition of bathos.
From the winning goal in a CL final, to 3 points against Norwich. :)

The entire defence and midfiekd should be ashamed of yesterday.

I'm a fan of Moreno, Sakho and Clyne but they all need to step up. Yesterday was unacceptable. Moreno was brainless for the penalty but let's not lose sight of the fact that he has been our best full back this season and has largely done well.

Lucas provides zero protection for the defence. Can and Hendo did some good things but quite a few bad things as well.

In the first half especially, Lucas made any number of interceptions and small foot-in type tackles to win the ball and break down attacks. Perhaps you were looking elsewhere and didn't notice.
Moreno has talent, but more going forward- he's a miserable defender. Yesterday's incident apart, he is good at chasing down a player and winning the ball back cleanly, but you have to ask yourself why he needs to be chasing back so often.
I'm not having a go at him, but he still has a long way to go to become a reliable defender.

You're right about Moreno but we should bear in mind that Klopp wants full backs pushed up which means he does have to run back quite often. He was exposed a lot yesterday because the midfield didn't help him at all.

He needs to improve defensively, no doubt - but he's still young.

Lucas loses his man so often and doesn't even bother running or chasing. Had enough of him now. We still haven't replaced Mascherano.

In an ideal world Kante would be a perfect signing for us.

TBF nothing could be done about their 1st; Mignolet might have done better for the 2nd; their 3rd was a penalty he almost saved; the 4th was a lucky worldie
