By my reckoning Manchester United have managed one shot on goal against Saints in over 180 minutes against Saints at Old Trafford.
Agreed. But let's not have no letting. It is Saints day, whether they smother it with ManU off-day comment or not.
SCA Super Charlie Austin, he is the new Rickie? Thought Shane Long was tremendous up front, he must be a nightmare to play against. Good to see young Matty Targett and Cecil looking comfortable on the ball? Classie had a very good game and bossed the mid-field. Enjoyed that.
And that was a hopeful 35 yard stab straight at Fraser. Must be depressing watching football like that every week. Vin
Charlie looked very concerned about Clasie when they were walking off together, a bit worrying. I can't remember ever seeing Ron look so happy though, good to see.
Just watched the goal again and while I know we want to take all the glory for that win (and rightly so) that was utterly woeful defending by Man U. Awful. I'd be disappointed if Onionman Jr's team conceded like that. Vin
That Mane and Shane break where Long demolished their CB was key. Man U were just starting to put a few passes together. I think Austin had so much room because the Utd defence believed that 'got no ligaments' tosh. They seemed to be working just fine.
Enjoyed seeing the team so happy and thanking the fans. Shame about Lallana's late goal as we would then be 7th.....but mustn't be greedy.
Despite all the booing at the final whistle, right at the very end of the video, while Saints and Ronald were walking off, there were older ManU fans applauding our team. Fair play to them.
Charlie Nicholas saying we might start thinking about top four. Umm now I'm an optimistic chap, but...
