    not worried he said he'd only leave if a champions league team came in for him they're not so why worry

    I'm a fan of Barton, and acknowledge he was the cornerstone of the squad last season...having said that, it's kinda a stretch to say he's given his "money's worth" considering how long it took before he really started contributing to the club's success. I know, I know, he's made amends for past mistakes, but still, he needs to continue proving himself considering how long that list of mistakes is

    Barton to me lacks the pace to be suited to many premier league clubs. He will not be missed.

    Cabaye and Guthrie have more energy than him
