Bit different from SC who always kept his cards close to his chest but seldom followed through!! Let's see what happens.
I'm sure its just purely coincidental that the second Cotterill has left we have made massive strides in the transfer window..
mmm Massive strides??? All I see at the moment is two loan players coming in and a lot of speculation. We had loan players and speculation under Cotterill
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to pick up on that!! Got to say though, I'm in full agreement with you Prem!
It's still two players, SC was complaining about everything and anything for the season we weren't bringing in players, Pembertons came in, bougt in 2 and identified where we needed to strengthen.
Well Cotts did bring in 9 players whilst he was complaining though. I'm not defending him at all but 2 loans players coming in does not make for massive strides in my eyes. We need some of this speculating to become reality for that too happen.
If Pemberton is being allowed to go ahead with signings/loans is it looking more likely that he's going to get the manager's job; at least until the end of the season? Serious question.
We can't wait on signings the manager will just have to work with the players we buy players more important
It doesn't appear that we will have a new manager before the transfer window closes which makes me think that Pemberton is in charge for the foreseeable future and the team will have his mark on it. The next obvious progression is that he will be our man for the longer term, if not the entire season. Results are all that matter now and if the changes to be made this month help us strengthen and move up the table perhaps Pemberton/Elliott might get us where we want to be. It will be an interesting couple of weeks and the messages sent from the boardroom will go a long way towards us becoming stronger and more competitive.
