BOOOOOOOO!!!!! I'd have loved to get him in! We need a right sided player!

Unless AN is planing on putting Naismith there? Although, most Toffees seem to think his best position is behind the striker! Could mean the end of Wes as a starter :(

I'm not so bothered about Lafferty, but Hooper is a bloody good footballer. There must be an aspiring Championship club ready to pay £4m - £5m for him? He's a proven goalscorer at that level. He may not be deemed to suit Neil's system, or ideology, but I certainly hope we don't have to lose an asset like him for much less than his true value.

I like Hooper too and it's a shame he never really got the run of games to prove himself. He's a natural goalscorer someone we need, but I reckon we'd get £4 million, even though he's better than Grabban so probably deserve more.

Rumours gathering pace regarding Whittaker being sold to 'a Championship club'.

Will still need another CB and anyone we sell we should replace.

He has a pretty good goals record! For £10m it might be worth a go!

To put 2 and 2 together (and possibly make 5), I could see Whitts going to Leeds after they lost Byram. I know Byram has been used as more of a winger lately, but right-sided player out = right-sided player in, maybe?

Same could be argued for Bristol City I guess, as they lost Bennett (who was playing at wing-back).

Rumour has it that the competition for Doumbia's signature could be fierce. I'm doubtful we'll be at the top of his list of preferred clubs.

Good player, I'd rather we were focusing on a goalscorer or CB though.

Well, one thing we know - if he ends up at QPHa, that totally blows the 'WCT' theory out of the water!! <yikes> <laugh>

Predicted this yesterday (post #1921) - would be a good move for him (and us).

Fair, but i feel Mbokani would be a goalscorer if we had someone who could give him service! Same goes for Naismith. He will score if he gets chances!

Someone in midfield who can create chances would be good as we currently only have Wes, Redmond and Jarvis, all of whom who is struggling for form/fitness!

Isn't Naismith an upgrade on Hoolahan ?

    Can't Vadis & Howson create chances ?
