    I'm saying I don't know. I need some actual evidence that it's racist, which hasn't been presented at all (apart from a demographic breakdown of the US, ffs) - using common sense there are a lot of variables outside of racism which you are not even considering, and a subjective opinion of 'I thought Samuel L Jackson was better than Matt Damon' is not good enough.

    You want written confessions from the people that nominated the actors? :huh:

    The fact that, over the last 2 years, NONE of the nominees were black, isn't enough to prove that the whole thing glorifies a handful of actors, all of whom happen to be white?

    You don't think that Leicester City and Arsenal being joint top of the Premier League implies that big money signings can not buy success in football? Or this is an unusual year?

    As I said, I need more evidence that it's racism against black people, rather than just a random statistical anomaly, or good old fashioned cronyism (a mate of a mate gets the nod), or snobbishness against lower classes, or ageism against movies which appeal more to youth, or Jews giving awards to Jews, etc, etc, etc.
