You'd hope he would stay as hes 100% guaranteed a start at NUFC with the Euros coming up. Townsend a direct replacement would be okay, Perez can stay in the first 11 if so. Would still like to have at lest ONE option from the bench however. Hope it's not true, McClaren was talking about building the team around him.
Be a big mistake to let him go. Imo, Towsend as a replacement would be a downgrade. It's bad enough we are letting Thauvin go. Since Aarons is made of glass and never gets a chance when he is fit, we'd have literally no wide players left!
