When I looked and saw 8 pages to this thread, I thought we had signed the bugger.. I think he would be a great signing for us, but can't see him coming. As for the Manchester clubs he thinks he's going to.. City don't need him, utd could do with him, but I'm not sure they would pay 20 mill for him.
They are playing herierra AM at the moment, Ayew would do a miles better job IMO, but I don't think they would pay 20 mill and I don't blame them.
The lad is clearly next level for us. United are clearly a couple of levels above us. If Hernandez and Janusaj can't get games at United when they'd walk into our team with broken legs... We clearly don't shop for the same players.

I know he's a good player. But we've had players on the same level if not better than him. Look at gyan for example, we signed sess from PSG, and Johnson from city (when they was very highly rated at the time). Malbranqe was a techniqual genius. We should be looking at players at Ayew, because we are Sunderland, we have 42,000 turn up to watch the likes of Danny graham, imagine how many would turn up if we were the slightest bit successful. If we are looking at Ayew, then it's not because he's above our level, it's because it's about time.
Swansea saying they will not sell Gomis to Newcastle because they are relegation rivals, so selling Ayew to Sunderland ? Would Ayew want to go to Sunderland Shelvey to Newcastle maybe they wanted him out
