If you don't understand the meaning of 'negative', I suggest you google it.

Out of interest, how many away games have you done in the past eighteen months?

When a player loses form, Bruce takes far too long to drop them.

Is that statement true or false?

Okay mate don't answer any questions then. For someone who I presume is over 60 you act like a bit of a kid.

I've been to no away games since the last time we were in the Championship. Preempting the "you aren't a real fan" comment - say what you want, I don't care whether people like you consider me a 'real' fan or not.

You save me posting a lot of stuff Lambo, it's like I think it and you post it. I'll probably be accused of being 'up your arse' because I have similar opinions to you on many things, personally I couldn't give a ****, you speak a lot of sense.

Now can I have that free pair of jeans, in 'fat bastard' size? <cheers>

Thank **** you're not responsible for making any important fans polls.

Thats a Hoofwanking bunglecunt of a question. Is that statement true or false? Actually, it's true, so don't worry about it.

Ever heard of context? How can he drop a player, who he trusts, and knows should be performing better, when there's actually no other options? There's loads of reasons to not drop a player. The reason he's a highly paid, and regarded manager, and you and the rest of us on here ain't, is because he knows what he's got and what they're capable of.

It's like the statement I saw from some cockwomble about we never scored without strikers on. Clearly a load of bollocks as we've done that in the past month or so.

Bollocks who's rewriting history. You said we were crap for 18 months. We werent. We beat Liverpool in that time, we drew with Man City. We stuffed Everton. We were relegated by a fine margin, ye we were relegated but we were nowhere near as bad as some make out.

We played and won well yesterday and people are rightly praising the team and manager. By the same token, people were right to ask questions of the team and manager when the performances were unacceptable in away games last month. Appraisal of anything will rightly reflect the evidence it is based on.

I never had any intention of questioning your fan qualifications, i just wondered if the reason you didn't understand what I was saying, was because you didn't actually see most of the games that had pissed me off.

Looks like I'm better at presuming than you. :emoticon-0109-kiss:

It took him months to drop Huddlestone and he can't claim it was due to a lack of options, we've got central midfielders coming out our ears.

You're a fool. The other day you had no idea about Michael Turner. In this post you claim we've only spent three seasons in the top flight, along with the most pathetic and ludicrous suggestion that past honours that aren't event recent have the slightest relevance to this season.

Expectations are founded on current circumstance, not on winning a Mickey mouse cup 50 years ago or how many people can fit in a stadium.

You talk like the typical delusional premier league fan, by your posts I gather quite clearly you haven't been going to city long.

With 3 away games coming up, it has to be an opportunity for Bruce to put right those away performances last month. The home form isn't an issue but we need to see if our recent form can be transferred into the away games. Those that went to Leeds, Rotherham and Preston are right to remain unconvinced until our away form improves.

Swap Curtis Davies for Michael Dawson and I think you have our best starting 11. Hope we go with that team at Fulham

Very well said Bo. It was nice to get a 6-0 win over a laughably poor Charlton side but it is hard to see how this offsets the dismal performances against equally weak bottom-dwellers in the Championship this year, and the tactical and team selection errors that threw away key points in the Premiership in the second half of last season and resulted in our eventual relegation. Those represent massive failures of management that has to be laid at Bruces door, and no amount of "comfortable win euphoria" and our position in the table can erase the amnesia over his previous repeated errors in judgement.

Does yesterdays win mean that Bruce has seen the light, that the scales have dropped from his eyes, that the truth has dawned, that he is a NEW MAN??? No more pathetic slow motion build ups in mid-field with Huddlestone et al passing the ball sidewards and backwards while the opposition regroups and blankets our outnumbered lone striker.? No more shutting up shop in the last 20+ minutes to hopefully cling on to fragile leads which failed dismally time after time after an unpressed inferior opposition threw everyone forward to get a share of the points.? No more lone strikers ploughing lonely furrows up front waiting for penetrating through balls or mid-field attacking support that never comes ???? No more Rotherhams, Boltons, Leeds, Prestons, Charlton (away), etc etc.????

Arguably the best squad we have ever assembled has performed far below its potential, notwithstanding its position in the table. Yesterday, despite the poverty of the opposition, we saw some of that potential, a relentless attack, rock solid defense, and a rejuvenated Hernandez taking full advantage of his freedom. The shackles were off. We were playing the kind of football of which we have always been capable....but have seldom showed.

I believe if we can keep Hernandez healthy and add another quality striker we should gain automatic promotion. But is Bruce the man to manage us at the next level??? That, as raised earlier, is really the question that the Allams will have to answer in the coming months.

We were the third worst team in the premier league, so yes we were bad. If we had of had burnleys squad people would have accepted it better, but we didn't, we had a squad that cost millions to put together and should of as Bruce put it 'been up there trying to win our league of of the bottom 10 teams'. In his attempt to achieve that we came 8th of the ten! Pretty poor really.

I can see both sides of the argument, but one thing that gripes me is, why can't we have high expectations? Just because for large parts of our history we have been crap doesn't mean we have to just be happy with what we have! I said it earlier but I think Bruce will get us promoted I just don't think he is good enough to keep us there, and nothing he did in those last 18 months of been a premier league team will change that. We were underperforming dross at times.
