Although only having made 3 cameo appearances for us, he has seemed to have really taken his chances in pre-season with 3 impressive performances. Although he may only be seen as a reserve, he has seemed to show enough promise to question whether he should be part of the first team squad next season.

As well as showing pace and confidence on the ball, he has a wide passing range and is physically contempt when trying to regain possession. All this could really be used to our advantage if we give him around 20-30 mins at the end of games next season whilst letting him get used to the premier league, his flair against tired legs could make him a nuisance in midfield, kind of like how we played Ranger for most of the season, impact sub.

Also, it would also help him gain an understanding with our CMs that can only benefit us if we are light on numbers. Yes we may be strong in midfield, but surely if he gains an understanding he could just be slot into either AM or DM which would give us more depth that we've needed.

So the question is, would you include him in the first team yet (Albeit on the bench)?

See what you did there! I think the kid has loads of class and has a brilliant future in front of him. Let's hope he gets a chance to prove himself with some first team appearances.

I think he might be one for next season which is great, as everyone seems to expected him to be a part of the reserve setup.

Abeid, Vuckic and Ferguson. Three young NUFC players who I'm pretty damn excited about.

I've not seen what all the fuss is about Vuckic, until last night when he looked really lively and tried to play some decent passes (but the forwards were too knackered to get on the end of them).

he's not long ago just got over a serious injury so think the performances we saw him at the back of last season wasn't his best or fully fit will judge the lad this season

Abeid, Vuckic, Ferguson, Sammy Ameobi, Moyo, all look like decent potential and should all be given Cup Games and Sub appearences. From what i have seen and heard about Vuckic and Abeid i would play them over the likes of Smudger

Hope to see more of Michael Richardson and Ryan Donaldson then maybe add them to the list of decent potential.

If we're serious about having decent cup runs then our youngsters won't be getting much of a look in.

But yes, hopefully him, Vuckic etc will get chances from the bench in the coming season as it's the only way they'll develop - other than loaning them out.

LuaLua looked decent too from his few appearances end of last season! I know he's buggered off on loan again, but just thought I'd put that one out here!

Never seen him. I could have sworn someone on here said they had talked to him on Facebook and he said he'd been told he'd be in the first team plans or something.

Although thats a crafty little trick I often use on football manager so Pardew may be being sneaky.

This. I would happily see all three of those as regulars on the bench. They are all technically gifted, pacey (don't know about Vuckic) players that have bags of potential.
