Didn't you suggest a 17 year old was our back up LB?

I think I suggested a 16 year old was our emergency back up.

I think there is a way to accommodate all 3 CB's. Its something we've done successfully before and would IMO make us pretty much impregnable at the back with Livermore and 2 others in front of them. Wing backs Dave and Robbo and then Abel and perhaps Diame or A.N.Other up top. Any thoughts?

A fit Dawson will help us against the better teams, in the last couple of games they've probably been able to sit back and smoke cigars back there.

It would be a travesty to drop Harry over Davies when Dawson is back.

Sorry Tuck - I thought it was the norm these days.
I'll go and stand in the corner on the naughty step for a while.

I wish Aluko would get injured, then it would take him out of the equation, and Greg Luer in

just be happy Junior's injured because Harry would still be on the bench or farmed out again

I'm a huge admirer of Harry, his development and contribution this season have been tremendous. However, got a little concerned yesterday when he kept trying to beat his man so he could run it out of defence. Great to watch when it comes off but not something I want to see our CBs doing. Nit picking maybe against someone who is rapidly becoming a hero of mine.

McCormack is going to test Harry's skills on Sat...could do with someone buying him before then...heard Boro have bid already.

I definitely rate him, but he does have a fair bit to learn about positioning
Yesterday was great, but I could have done a job against Charlton !
He looks good on the ball, but there's been times in previous games he looks like he gets balls played round and behind him too easily
Having said all that when Dawson is back he's in, but I'd be happy with Harry over Davies

I agree - that's why we need Dawson back next week paired with Davies!

I feel he's not what we need at all DK. We have a better version of him in Abel. If we got a striker i'd want someone who can head a ball and hold it up and for someone for Abel to feed off, then we'd really see a £10 million striker, at the moment he's making many of his own goals.

How long before someone comes in for Abel though TC. If we lose him we're ****ed as he is the only striker worth anything we have. (not including Greg Luer)

He seems to have replaced Paul McShane as the supporter's favourite.

Because of the reasons you already gave. Little H won't be going anywhere.

That would take one of two things. Either the offer would have to be too good to turn down(£12m anyone?) Or our owners would have to be Cuckoo....<yikes>

Realistically (unless he has a low buyout clause) why would we sell Abel unless it was for something stupid like £20m? We have no strikers and even with £10-15 who would we buy that would give us as good chance of promotion immediately without the need to settle in?
