kelvin and bart were wearing the same kits, theres a picture above of kelvin. its black with a horrible green colour, they look terrible :/
I love this kit, the yellows chant rang out as the players walked out in it! Gonna need to find0 £40....
I must say I wasn't overly keen on the new home shirt till I saw it today, it looks so much better in real life, tonnes better than the last umbro striped top (which I really like btw) Think the new away shirt is really nice, great shade of yellow and the collar looks brilliant. 2 great kits this season, a very rare occurrence.
The only jibe, and only jibe I have with the kit is the red sponsor. It looks completely out of place, should have been in blue, same as the numbers/names on the back. But, I suppose they wanted it that colour so fair do's. Other than that I will be ordering one that's for sure, haven't got a yellow Saints shirt.
Glad we have the yellow back it will illuminate the deepest winter away days rather than the black or grey doom and gloom kits of previous seasons
The home kit is really growing on me - looks a lot better in flesh. I like the away kit too and disagree with the comment above - I like the collar.
been bugging me what other clubs have played in the "brazil" kit. After a bit of googling, Barnsley, Swindon & Crystal Palace have all done it... and most disturbing of all, so did Pompey in 90/91... please log in to view this image
Loving the new away kit, always liked us in a yellow and blue away kit as it normally ends up with some kind of success for the club no matter how big or small it is!
I like the away kit ( white socks included ). Not convinced about the home kit ... yet. But I reckon a few big home wins will have me lovin' it by way of association.
Some of my group popped into the shop for the new away kit, but it seems Umbro have not delivered all of the stock, in particular larger size shirts and the socks.
I shall be getting it, as unlike some I love the style of it and especially not having a collar (never been a fan of shirts with collars, mind you I did get last years home shirt) it all comes down to a matter of personal opinion & taste. Think De Ridder on back of away shirt too, never have names on my home shirt. No idea why.
My point was that you should contact them to see if your requirements are available before making a wasted journey and giving the shop staff a headache, it isn't their fault if what you want isn't already on the shelf.
I am not fussed when I get it, if they have a medium in store on saturday I shall get it, if not I will wait. Simples!
Just had a thought, the white socks are probably for when we play Pompey at Fratton... we'll be wearing them with our home kit to avoid a red sock clash!
