as the title say's who's in, i've gone through the squad and we currently have 29 player's in the first team squad(not including macalamity) brendan has said he wants 3 goalkeeper's, so there' another 1 at least to come in( if cornell is included in the 3). so that means 5 won't be in as it stands, i think these will be walsh,lucas,macdonald,pintado and thomas, if we're seriously looking to bring in another 2/3 outfield player's, then the likes of cotterill,butler,richards and harley will be hard pushed to get a place. here's my squad at the moment- 1 gk-moirea( portuguese guy) 2 gk-????????? 3 gk-cornell 4 def-ash williams 5 def-neil taylor 6 def-steve caulker 7 def-gary monk 8 def-alan tate 9 def-angel rangel 10 def-ash richards 11 mid-leon briton 12 mid-andrea orlandi 13 mid-scott sinclair 14 mid-nathan dyer 15 mid-joe allen 16 mid-kemi augstien 17 mid-mark gower 18 mid-ferrie bodde(wild card) 19 att-steven dobbie 20 att-danny graham 21 att-luke moore 22 att-craig sicknote beattie that leaves 8 player's and anyone new we sign fighting for the last 3 places.
Am i right in saying that anyone under a certain age isnt included in 'the 25', i may be wrong but i am sure that was the ruling last year
beppe, your right, i forgot about that, but looking at the list, i don't think any of my squad of outfield player's are under 21. maybe caulker?
joe allen's already 21, neil taylor and scott sinclair are 22, i forgot to look at jazz richards, but caulker and cornell are both 20.
I think jazz played against my brother in law when he was at Saints (i think) so think he would be around the 19 -20 mark also.
We wont end up with 25 players over 21 years old so it's a mute point. Walsh, Lucas, Thomas, Alfei, Richards and Cornell are all U-21. I think Caulker will count as well though rules might be different for loanees.
well hacker, if we take cornell and caulker out of my squad, that leaves 20 player's in there, we need another goal keeper, so there;s 4 places available, i've not included- cotterill,macdonald,butler,pintado or harley, if we include these we're over 25 already.
Harley is an interesting one though. Got to wonder what the point of us signing him is if he's not around this season...

If we do sign 4 more we will have 2 too many but it's entirely likely that several will be leaving either on loan or permanent. As it stands Pintado and MacDonald look the most likely.
