yeah, but a month ago we wouldn't have won either of them <laugh>

We are not there yet, but losing game after game shatters the teams confidence, the fact that we are avoiding losses every week is an improvement, albeit a slight one.

Spose if we get the right manager and spend megabucks.... one day we'll be as impressive as
your shower of ****,and get turned over at home by norwich.

Sure. But then United scraped 4th while you were champions and big favourites for this season...a huge difference.

You are now 14th...compared to United's 6th. You are safe from relegation because I think there are 3 other teams worse than you. <ok>

No it is not. It is an illusion and a straw to cling to. Going all out for a win involve taking risks.

What is it with Dutch managers? Same as LVG who wants wins without the risk of conceding goals and therefore defeats. It is simply not possible unless you have a team of super players like Barcelona. Saying it is great to have draws (like Hiddink said) is losing track of the objective. Single points are simply not enough to move you up the table. You have outperform the likes of WBA, Everton, Palace, The RS, Everton, Watford and others.

Unless your objective is to stay above relegation <ok>

what worried me was the ease that they equalised with both times they went behind, everton next up and they have a hit man up front

How about highlighting my whole sentence and not just the parts you want to read. I didnt say "every week is an improvement" i said "avoiding losses every week is an improvement" which seems to have happened so far under Hiddink.

Definitely. They'll flounder around 4th or 5th, doing nothing in particular. We'll be back after a few tweaks and yes, we'll win a trophy before they do. <ok>

You and some others are first class to my third class <applause> <laugh>

Not as much as those here who think they've significantly improved under hidddink. They've jettisoned their manager for draws and getting to 14th...that's clever <laugh>

Have we improved? Yes, Under Mourinho we never went 3 games without a defeat.
Have we improved to where we want to be? And what we know our squad is capable of? Heck no.
But the guy has had 3 games in charge and been here less than a month <doh>

The Chelsea fans will never admit it but SB is a pretty **** stadium for a club that aspires to be one of Europe's elite. The posh parts are nice enough but the core of the stadium is still pretty average.

I thought the bar was put in and everything else built around that? This has thrown my whole outlook on football.

    I will admit it.
I have been to St James Park and Villa Park, and both are excellent facilities, compared to SB. Thats why our stadium was never used in FA Cup semi's.
Went to the MK Dons stadium the other day too, its only 10 mins from my house. Plush as **** mate, really, really good. If only they could fill it every week tho <laugh>
30,000 capacity stadium for a team thats only existed for 8 years or whatever.
They had an attendance of just under 11,000 at their last game......to see a stadium two thirds empty is heart breaking.
Only seen it packed out twice, once was a rugby match, and the second time when they beat United 4-0.
Hopefully when we go there in the next round of the FA cup it will be full. Will most certainly be going to that game, I have no excuse :p

I once went to Selhurst Park to watch Wimbledon play Coventry (my mate is a Cov fan).

    Coventry took about 800.

    Wimbledon had about 1300.

One stand behind a goal had 3 fans sat in it.

None of the concession stands were open.

This was the game - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/2257842.stm

OT is as corporate as an old stadium can be. I'm not saying that's a good thing.

    Highbury was a ****ing dump!
Went there many times (mum and brother are Gooners).
My mum was an Arsenal season ticket holder for years, so I was dragged there on many occassions in my youth.
    Absolute **** hole.
Haven't been inside the Emirates yet, have been stood outside though, looks impressive.
