But it won’t be his first time up against a Louis van Gaal side. Adam Bate examines their rivalry and what it could mean for the weekend… They've each had their moments. this is kind of pointless why? 1. Van gaal despite anything else was in a club in Bayern that had the dominant position and was actually competing with wolfsburg if anyone. He only lasts 1.75 seasons. The team had most of the big elements too. 2. klopp came in in 2008/09 to an upper midtable team a year before and started his work. the klopp 10 in a row sat is hilarious.. he was at mainz a very small team in a baern dominated league for mos tof that. if god himself managed mainz he'd not beat bayern! 3. LVG won the league in 09/10 which is the games you show. Klopp won the league the next year and LVG got the sack in april. 4. they are at very different clubs now in a totally different league 5 years on... totally irrelevant games. You can talk about pressing all you want back then but its not the same players is it?
my thing is if utd decide not to attack and just decide to lump it for 30mins at felliani LFC won't get much out of it.
