I'm not going to poo-poo this potential signing as by all accounts he's a bright young prospect ............... ............. BUT surely we should be focusing on bringing in players right now to immmediately improve our first team for the Premier League run in ?
Agree, feel like we have made lots of signings for the future. Don't have a problem with that but yes we need to get in some first team players.

I do wonder how good he can really be if it was only us and Derby seemingly offering anything? Hope he'll someday make the first team but this has 3-4 years of loans and sold to lower league written all over it again. I do think it is possible to be scouting on multiple fronts but with so little quality seniors coming through the door (Thus far!) I think you could be right! Bah!

Watford planning a move for Jerome Sinclair from Liverpool. He's got 6 months on his contract. Now he is a youngster I would love us to bring here, he probably could make an impact in the first team too.
Not sure it was me DH but as we seem to agree on a lot I can see why you would think so. In fact I do agree the resources needs to primarily be spent on the second half of the season. One thing I would say is if we've spotted a lad who we think would be good to bring into the academy, if he has a professional contract then this is the only part of the year those deals can be done. I expect that the building of the first team and the academy are different exercises.
