They are there for the taking for you lot, they gave so much energy today, bound to catch up with them when they play you.
The trouble is so did we LVG will be seething!! I expect an end to end frenetic encounter on Sunday regardless tbh. Klopp will be berating the 4th official throughout and if they manage a point they'll be holding hands and taking encores from their fans at the end
Can anyone tell me who took the corner for Girouds first goal? I assumed Ozil but didn't remember seeing him take it, have checked three different live feeds from different news outlets and none of them name who took the corner. Found some highlights on YouTube and none of the highlights show who took it either... Lol
On the plus side, Ramsey hitting form, a goal, and an assist, plus a goal in the cup, Ramsey on form is one of the best midfielders in the league.
Disappointed in the OX (again),in hindsight it looks like a bad sub, but at that point I was clamouring for a sub and wanted both the OX and Gibbs to come on, Gibbs did well, the OX unfortunately, was **** and it would have been better to just have kept Campbell on for him. But that's football, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, if we don't make subs and Pool equalise, it'll be a case of why no subs.
Yep, I thought Ramsey did really well tonight. A goal and an assist and he worked his socks off all night.
Agree about Ramsey, did well and (unfortunately) I agree about oxo as well, was our poorest player by far
Interesting Q, with Sanchez back, who gets dropped on the wing, Campbell or Theo, Campbell at the moment is playing better than Walcott on the wings. Sounds strange but at the moment think Walcott is better and more relaxed playing as a CF now than a winger.
It will be a bit harsh on him as he's done so well since coming in, but Sanchez has to take Campbell's place imo. That said, we can rest Sanchez when we need to now and know we've got a great replacement to come in .
Hope Sanchez is fit for Sunday, we need a fighter to give it to Stoke, and he will be just the one to do it.
This. Campbell and Sanchez on the wings will give us so much work rate, defensive stability and pace on the flanks, while Theo isn't on form on the flanks, but can be rotated with giroud upfront in a horses for courses approach.
Just got back from lab (only could catch the first 30 minutes). Disappointing to draw, especially so late in the game but mitigated by the fact that nobody else barring Leicester gained on us and Liverpool is out of the way but our rivals still have to play them.
Lab = norf londun talk for recording studio "I be droppin dem hot joints in da lab fam" - "buy my cd for a pound boss" Kinda people that go to their kids parents evening and pass out mixtapes.
I'm happy with the point in the end. In all honesty I thought Liverpool were the better side. They could have easily hammered us. But the manner in which we dropped the points was disappointing. But a good point in the end.
