i think I understand the way things are now.

If we win, RK is a good tactician.
If we lose RK doesn't have a clue, and anyone who runs an under 11's or Pub team knows more than RK about formations.

Great to be back to winning ways. In Ron we trust.

 

One good game doesn't change the fact things weren't going right behind the scenes. Hopefully the meeting sorted it out and we are passed it now though.

 

Think WBA will be harder to beat. They are a annoying team, that play like the old Stoke.

 

We won because Koeman's tactics are rubbish.

Nah, Mane can finish, he's just not doing it at the moment. Long's never really been a good finisher.

I was going to say that. I don't think many are that critical of him concerning the first team. We may question subs and formations but we did the same with Pochetino and Adkins and no doubt would if it were Pep or Love or anyone else. Happy we won, just got to see if the behind the scene stuff is sorted out now.

 

He's a pretty woeful finisher, but looks worse in part because he generates so many chances when we're in full flow. Currently scoring 1 per 167 minutes played in the league, though...that's the best mark in the squad, by some distance.

 

Interesting , first goal cross from deep and not the by-line, I guess it does not matter if it is quality

Agreed on it looking worse for that reason. He does a lot of great things and I like him as a player. If he could finish as well as he does most other things he'd be a really fantastic player.

Thank the heavens for that! Good performance, not quite sure what the formo was but it worked and the lads seemed really up for it. Thought targett had a great game. Bring on the baggies! Good goal by long as well, I don't give him praise often so there it is! The whole team really worked hard, was nice to see. Still a bit wasteful up top from mane but he did create those chances himself so fair enough

 

Great performance, a 2-0 trouncing against a good team. Watford had 49% possession? I'm surprised they had that much seeing how well we pressed.

 

Saints were revitalised by my return to the forum. Well done all.

Fair play to Targett tonight - best game for a long time. Great cross too. Maybe he has transferred his U21 form at last.
