    I think Abeid could turn out as a Modric-esque player if he plays CM rather than on the wings. Good battler, good passer, quick. I'm genuinely excited by this guy, especially as he's only 18!

    Dead on. This formation depends on the quality of the centre mids, and we're currently short Barton and Cabaye. I missed the first half, but presume Smith was on? Not the same really.

    Definitely. I'd start the season with Cabaye, Tiote, HBA, Gosling and Abeid as the main CMs and go from there.
