These next two are such crucial games If we want to attract some good names, In this window shop For nearer the drop We edge, the harder our aims And if, god forbid, we should lose The list of those whom we can choose, Becomes smaller still As each point we spill Takes us ever nearer the Blues We all agree, one place to fill Is CB, and where there´s a will, There should be a way To get one to stay And one too, who will fit the bill But maybe our centre-back sights Should be lowered from lofty heights, To give us more chance To quickly enhance Our defensively leading lights But Pinto does sound like he´ll fit At right back, to help us a bit, With Jarvis soon good If S. Naismith could Join too, I think he´d be a hit I´m confident the treasure chest To strengthen our Canary nest, Will soon be unlocked For should we be crocked At CB, we might fail the test And Neil, I´m sure, does have a plan In progress for getting his man, Despite our low rank No breaking the bank As Bournemouth seem to think they can. OTBC - INIT
and I will be working hard to stay awake for the first of these two crucial games. Who the feck thought it a good idea to play on a Wednesday night? Does me no favours
Spot on RBF, though our cause was helped by Bournemouth losing at home tonight. As I said on the January transfer thread: In spite of playing all 3 of their new signings, Bournemouth went down 1-3 to West Ham at home. Grabban came on to replace Afobe for the final 20 minutes and had one good touch and then was virtually invisible after that. Arter got their goal with a long range shot but they were outplayed in the second half. Shame really. Newcastle drew 3-3 at home against ManUre and Villa beat Palace 1-0 at home. A bit of pressure off us in the next two anyway.
Good to see we've earned ourselves some breathing space with our recent results but why stop now? We can get a point or three against Bournemouth away and if we get a point at Stoke that would be an added bonus. In Sir Alex we trust!
4 points over the next two would be brilliant. After this it would let AN bed in the new boy(s) with a bit of experimentation as we'd have a wee cushion over the strugglers
Agreed, it would be but I don't see it happening. I can't see beyond a defeat at Stoke tonight so three points at the most. (Hopefully we can double Bournemouth this season)
My target for this month was a mere 5 points. We already claimed 3 against Saints and are very much on track. At least 2 points from Stoke (A), Bournemouth (A) and Liverpool (H) is very achievable.
Not as confident as you. Nothing tonight, 1 point at Bournemouth (3 is possible on the right day) then it might depend on which Liverpool turn up.
I can assure you Thai that my account has not been hacked, this is definitely me and so far I've only downed only 1.1/2 pints
I think we could get a point here, but be good to win the next 2 games then just another 11 points should mean survival this season.
