Just another way of the allams clawing back the money owed to them having no consideration for us fans. We are and always will be just a revenue stream for them and as grateful as I am to them for what they did in buying the club and helping us to get to where we've been. It's seems their ambitions for the club and relationship with fans has deteriorated and they want out asap with their money. Let's hope for all parties that this happens soon and we can look forward and move forward because this ticketing situation definitely seems like a backward step.
I've also not seen it mentioned anywhere that the turnstiles for the toilets should be in this week and it's 20p to go in. So make sure you take some change with you.
I slightly cocked that up, on the phone it's a £2.60 charge per transaction, but if you collect the tickets in person there's a £2.00 per ticket charge.
Ian Hutchinson @Hutchy_HCAFC Assem Allam has put a new price tag on @HullCity He'll now sell the club for just £2m (plus £60m booking fee if buying in person).
No cash sales, if they want to meet it can only be on a Thursday or Friday, if they want to reserve a seat there is a further arrangement fee! I understand businesses are encouraged to use electronic payments but when the stadium is only 70% full why can't they have a cash turnstile on the West and South Stand or at least at the ticket office. We wouldn't have to worry about it until around 21,500 (AKA Swansea in 2003). It is sad that a repeat of that wonderful night cannot take place under the current ticketing policy. Could you imagine even 500 people stood outside the shop waiting to buy a ticket from a machine, it would be chaos! Oh and I know that around 2000 fans missed out on that night but I would rather have that scenario than around 5000 missing out because the printer only does a transaction every 1 minutes. 120 people an hour V over a 500 though a single cash turnstile!
Sadly at the moment you speak the truth. I saw 4 blokes walk away from the Brighton game on Saturday so angry at how those new machines actually work and the fact you cannot YET choose your own seats. You get given what the system says you can have. Crazy. Also, If you buy online the club should offer a matchday collection point. Not everyone has access to a printer especially a good printer. What an utter mess and typical of the clowns sorry decision makers at this time. Yes a slight hissy fit here but a genuine reasoned one.
I was surprised by the no collection option being absent when booking online. I have a printer in Hull so no worries but it's inconvenient for those who don't have printers (just a laptop?) and who book one or two days before a game.
the fact you can only turn up in person on a Thursday or Friday to buy over the counter is madness as is no cash on the day sales :[
And yet still people hand over their money to these ogres currently in charge Just walk away you set of door mats.
