Lacazette has rejected the £18m move to Newcastle. West Ham are interested apparently.

Well you said it yourself..."....Wilson will be back at some point"

If that point is April/May then it may be too late. He's had a bad injury. Murray is just there to make up numbers following the injuries.

Look a little closer to home and you may see that signing another striker is not such a waste of money.

I'm not saying I rate Grabban, but see the sense in signing two strikers. They have outplayed a lot of teams this season and not got the goals. I seem to remember you were impressed with them second half against us and quite pleased they didn't have a decent striker then :)

Andros Townsend just banged in a penalty and scored an equaliser for Spuds U21's 4 - 4 with Chelsea at the moment. It finished 4 - 5 to Chelsea

Might seem odd to target a CM given that we have so many already kicking about, but Sturaro plus Wanyama (for the time being, at least) might make a whole lot of our woes look better.

£3M, so an even bigger profit. Good business by Norwich!

Tbh, wouldn't mind Townsend as a puncheon type replacement. He can create chances and score.

Not sure on wages and wouldn't want to do business with spuds

Fair play to Newcastle, they're not messing about, making signings to try and make a difference. Quite right too, with new tv deal this IS NOT the year to be getting relegated.

I think Lacazette has said he is staying at Lyon for the rest of the season anyway.

Oh no it's sacrilege to spend TV money before you have it! Lets try and slowly build our commercial revenue before we start competing in the transfer market!

Seriously though we need to pull fingers out of our ass and actually improve our squad as opposed to trying to pad it out. I kind of understand the clubs reluctance to spend larger sums of money given where we've come from, but we're really in danger of falling behind the pack and becoming relegation battlers. The club is wasting it's time trying to build our commercial revenue instead of being a bit more proactive with the TV money as our commercial revenue is just as reliant on our PL status as the TV money.

Jealous! He will make a big difference to the "bite" in midfield and his passing is good. Would have been a good addition to us too...bah!!!!!!!

Been a few of those, I would of taken Naismith as well. And Gray of course which we've all already discussed.
