I ****ing blame that Sheffield United player. Why did he have to lunge and hit Depay (he wouldn't have scored would he?) ? Undeserved win to get LVG off the hook.

Totally unacceptable performance by LVG and United. I just feel sorry for people who had paid to watch this dross.

You said United needed £300m to rebuild.

I think not only is your manager ordinary, he has bought badly and you need another massive spend

Are you ****ing joking you muppet? LVG is not ordinary he is ****ing extraordinarily unsuited to United. Everyone is ****ing bored: players, fans, and funnily enough LVG himself. He looks as if he couldn't be arsed and wished he was somewhere else. An ordinary manager could not cause so much torture.

Woodward has to put this guy out of his misery.

To be fair if he's that bored he could always put himself out of his misery! The club won't sack him.

He won't be manager next season though, no way.

Moyes at least didn't take his club into the bottom half, facing relegation <ok> <laugh>

Good job LVG had £250 million to spend. You'd be down already otherwise :)

Had a watch at the penalty again. There was contact but Depay exaggerate it to full effect. Those Sheffield Utd players must be gutted to be knocked out like that.

The thing is I reckon we'd be in exactly the same position if he'd had next to nothing to spend. His football is so rigid and functional that any half decent group of players will grind out enough draws and narrow wins. equally regardless of how little or how much spent the attacking players would struggle.

I disagree with CFC that he's bought badly. I think he's bought pretty well, he's just managing badly. As Micky Owen said today all three of Mata, Martial and Fellaini started the second half out of position.

If he is manager next season, the GGs and Woodward need their heads examining, especially as the commercial value of the club is now at risk from the dull football being served.
