Robertson Hayden Snodgrass Really good performance, only **** finishing kept the score looking reasonable.
Robertson Huddlestone Hayden (great performance given how long it is since he last had real match time). Credit to Snodgrass (he's nearly there now), Aluko (his best game for ages although still frustrating) and Taylor (for looking like he deserved to be on the pitch today).
Hayden ( got stuck in and had a few good long range shots ) Robertson ( lots of attacking and some excellent crossing ) Harry ( solid along with Curtis and Dave ) Enjoyed the game could have easily been 3-0.
Hayden Robertson Huddlestone It was funny watching their Pirlo lookalike Calderon being given the run around by Robertson, a bit of a mismatch if I ever saw one. Hayden was fairly immense today and obviously works well with Huddlestone as mentioned for a while now
Hayden Huddlestone Robertson Huddlestone and Hayden looked like our best midfield pairing today. Don't get this 'too similar to Livermore to play together' line trotted out by Bruce about Hayden either. He is a level up from from Meyler for sure and I wouldn't see the problem in having two energetic midfielders who can both get forward, are defensively sound, and can pass the ball to one of ours. Quite enjoyed the game to be fair, and was pretty amusing to watch Calderon being roasted by Robertson every 2 minutes
Andrew Robertson can not cross a ball. If he could he would. Be worth 20 million. FACT Motm Snod grass. If he wasn't injured we would have stayed up last year. Odubajo. Harry.
Haydens a lot more mobile than Livermore for starters also possibly better going forward too, no wonder Wenger wants him to play he looks like a player in the making
He puts some great balls in but he always tries to whip them in with pace and as a result some of them go all over the place. It's the same as Brady when he was first here and people said his crossing was ****. He will go for big money one day. Snodgrass would have ended up playing up front with Aluko if he was fit last season.
