Also a big nod to the Attheraces website with its new letter guide for runners, very impressive and useful, especially in this heavy ground. Well worth a look.
Along with WOODFORD COUNTY I have also thrown SUBTLE GREY 7/2, UN ACE 14/1 and SHANGANI 5/1 into a Lucky 15 (would need to be bloody lucky for that lot to come in ) Good luck all and here's hoping they all come back safe in these terrible conditions.
Modernism in the lingfield opener looks a sure thing, am taking a gamble on chase the spud in the big one E/W took 50s last night
Punchy 1.00-Ard Cregg Win 9/2-Looks dangerous at bottom weight and will relish the going Cheps 2.55-C'ant believe I'm backing a Donald McCain horse but Subtle Grey has decent form on heavy ground and should go close at 7/2
1.45 Chepstow - Portrait King 20/1 A proven stayer who has won the Eider over 4m, was in contention when fell at Aintree 5 weeks ago and ran a good race in the Grand National too, form on heavy so at that price and the odds then I will have a dabble.
Bob Cooper thinks Unowhatimeanharry has a great chance in the big one at Kempton today...good to see that those being paid to present the racing are in the know
Good luck trevez, m8 gave me this earlier this morning for all the same reasons. I'm on too at 20's รจ/w. And thrown in MOUNTAINOUS, BOB FORD and EMPORERS CHIOCE for a combi tc/fc.
Can't resist a little dabble on courtown Oscar at 11/2 , I know a few of you are on subtle grey but Kirby seems a dab hand with chases and Reveley has been put in charge who is 3/3 on board . They also operate at 20% together , but enough about them courtown loves to play in bottomless conditions and the distance is a walk in the park .
Well done boys, thats 1 up in my Lucky 15 2 more to run. Taking Ball D'arc here each way think he can grab the place spot at 20/1
