Don't you just love the panic over Hayden ? Fulham messed up the deal and he stays unless someone will guarantee him regular football. Don't see a club that would actually interest Hayden doing that. Hayden will now get his chance again against Brighton. With Maloney out for 10 days (at least) we need him. 8 changes at least from the QPR game last week. I am interested in just who Brighton will start with as they appear to have a few issues as well.
Liverpool have trumped that tonight @ Exeter. A team full of kids except Luis Enrique and Bogden in goal.. However, Liam Ridgewell is expected to play for Brighton on loan from MLS side Portland Timbers.
I'll be tuning in if the Barcelona boss is turning out for Liverpool. Aren't there regulations against that, though?
Correct. It is Jose Enrique Not Luis Got my Enrique's mixed up. In saying that Liverpool could do with Luis tonight.
Excellent. Seen two great cup wins this season at the KC Leicester and Swansea so a hat-trick would be nice, I was at the Rochdale match too but least said about that one the better, in fact I can't actually remember much about it except they weren't bad for a League One side
Bloody Hell. One day he'll go too far and **** his career up badly. They should check whether or not tranquilizers are banned substances & dose him up before a game if not. Sad really, so much talent.
I missed the Hayden news as well, no doubt buried in the so called 'Hull City' January transfer window thread that covers every club. Not really, being dependant on another club as to whether we have a midfielder or not isn't really ideal. Bruce seems to buy older more injury prone older players, Clucas being a rare and good exception. We have still been thin on strikers as well, and the McGregor cover was never really sorted either.
Like Robertson? And Maguire? Hernandez? Etc etc. That was a rubbish sweeping generalisation from you.
We all know Bruce is better at signing defenders, that doesn't even need saying, though I was about to say it but edited it out. Other areas though he is lax.
