I missed the Hayden news as well, no doubt buried in the so called 'Hull City' January transfer window thread that covers every club.

Not really, being dependant on another club as to whether we have a midfielder or not isn't really ideal. Bruce seems to buy older more injury prone older players, Clucas being a rare and good exception. We have still been thin on strikers as well, and the McGregor cover was never really sorted either.

We all know Bruce is better at signing defenders, that doesn't even need saying, though I was about to say it but edited it out. Other areas though he is lax.

 

I read that he has had something like 50 games suspended in 5 seasons without ever being sent off.
