Do CASTrust still exist? The last I heard they were against the protests and wanted dialogue by Jan 15th. It seems they are against the majority of fans unless they do an immediate 180 degree turn, and the club will exploit this and call it a split. So come on trust, do the decent thing and swallow your pride.
I messaged the Trust - and in a diplomatic way asked what their take would be if KM agreed to meet them now they've joined the rest of us fans in protest. I received no reply, so re-sent it (again being diplomatic) questioning why the lack of response. Still no reply and it's been 5 days, so I think it's safe to assume that they would jump if given the opportunity.
CASTs last public utterance was to set another last, last, final deadline of dialogue for 15 Jan. They tried to jump on the protest bandwagon at the last min via Razil, not Pemberton or the useless Steve Clarke. You can always rely on CAST to jump into the bath 5 mins after someone has pulled the plug out.
How insufferable is Barnie Razzell? He isn't involved with the trust anymore, yet still sticks his big fat nose in. He was also trying to arrange a private meeting so a select few could organise the protests, no thanks mate!
If our CEO had any political nous she would take CASTrust up on the offer of dialogue, as a way of spiking our guns and causing a split in our ranks. Hopefully she doesn't (have nous)
Soon the trust will fall to the new CAFC Revolution. Out with the old way; be ridden of all these parasites that plague our club.
I have made this point about the Trust several times and this that was why I was banned from CL but you have to be consistent in your views and Rick Everitt is in the same mould. Those that started the ball rolling against Sheff Wed and have stuck with it I will stand shoulder to shoulder with but those that are now trying to take the lead for self interest can do one.
Yep - the trust jumped in in a bid to swell their numbers. They will always have a core support of, ironically 2% of our fan base. You are the 2%, CAST. Leave the protests to those who supported them since sheff weds
